Crocs MELLOW SLIDE Blue slides Men

Yes: Croslite is a closed-cell resin foam that washes with cold water and mild soap and air-dries — not in the washing machine or near heat, which warps it.

The resin's closed cells don't absorb water or sweat, so odour-causing bacteria don't thrive as they do in canvas or leather.

Yes: the material is waterproof and floats — they're designed for beach, boat and rocks too.

Yes: the strap pivots — wear it behind the heel for stability or forward to slide the shoe on like a clog.

Croslite softens above roughly 40°C: don't leave them in a hot car or on scorching surfaces to keep their shape.

They also drain water and hold Jibbitz, Crocs' customisable charms.

Yes: Croslite is a soft, lightweight proprietary resin foam, different from PVC — the brand's comfort core since 2002.

Yes: the footbed is anatomical, follows the arch and the roomy toe lets toes spread — why many wear them for long hours standing.

No: Croslite is very light — a pair of Classics weighs about 180-220 grams, among the lightest shoes around.

Yes: many nurses, chefs and workers use them for continuous cushioning and because they sanitise in seconds.

The Croslite tread grips well on wet surfaces; some work models (e.g. Bistro) have certified slip-resistant soles.

Jibbitz clip into the upper's holes: they work on every model with holes, like Classic and Crocband.

Yes: in winter they're often worn with thick socks; the lined Classic model exists precisely for cold weather.

The pigment runs through the material, not just the surface: colour stays vivid for a long time, though strong sun may lighten it slightly over the years.

No: it was born in Colorado in 2002 as a boating shoe; the name comes from the profile's resemblance to a crocodile's snout.

Crocs collects used pairs through the Crocs Cares programme to turn them into new shoes or products — the material is re-workable.

No: in the Classic the footbed is built into the one-piece structure — it isn't removable like an insole.

Yes: the arch is low and broad, suited to normal feet; people with very high arches sometimes prefer work models with extra support.

Yes: Croslite is synthetic and the base models contain no animal components.

The Crocband has a sneaker-style side stripe and sportier silhouette, with the same Croslite comfort and material as the Classic.
