Privacy notice

This information explains which personal data we process when you visit www. outletscarpeonline.it, create an account or make a purchase, because we process them and what rights you have. He proposed that the Court should: 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016 / 679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree no. 196 / 2003 (Privacy Code).

2 – What data do we process?

  • Account and order data: first name, last name, shipping and billing addresses, email, phone, products purchased, order history, returns and refunds.
  • Payment data: outcome and details of the transaction. Full card data is handled directly by the payment providers and is not stored by us.
  • Communications: messages sent via email, phone, contact form or return request.
  • Reviews: displayed name, rating and text, if you choose to leave a review.
  • Browsing data and cookies: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited. For details see the Cookie policy.
  • Newsletter: email address and preferences, only if you subscribe.

3. Why we process them and on what legal basis

  • Managing account, orders, payments, shipping, returns, refunds and support: performance of the contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Complying with tax, accounting and legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Protecting the site, preventing fraud and abuse (also via Google reCAPTCHA on modules): legitimate interest ( art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Sending you emails about products similar to those you purchased and invitations to review the order: legitimate interest ( art. 130, paragraph 4, Privacy code). You can object at any time with the link in each email or by writing us.
  • Newsletter and promotional communications: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
  • Statistics and personalised advertising via non-technical cookies: consent expressed through the cookie banner ( art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. Who we share the data with

Data is shared only with the parties we need to provide you with the service, acting as data processors or as independent controllers:

  • Couriers and logistics: UPS for deliveries; Toopost and SDA for handling returns.
  • Payments: PayPal (also for cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay), Klarna, Satispay and the bank for transfers.
  • Technical services: the site’s hosting provider (servers in the European Union), Google for sending emails and for reCAPTCHA, CookieYes for managing cookie consent.
  • Statistics and advertising: Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) and any other tools listed in the Cookie policy, activated only with your consent.
  • Marketplaces: for orders received through marketplaces (e.g. eBay), the marketplace itself.
  • Advisors tax and legal advisors, public authorities where required by law.

The data is neither disseminated nor sold.

5 – Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers, such as Google and PayPal, may also process data in the United States. In these cases the transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6 – How long do we keep the data?

  • Orders and tax documents: 10 years, as required by Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code.
  • Account: as long as it remains active or until you request its deletion.
  • Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn.
  • Support requests: for as long as needed to handle them and to protect our rights in case of disputes.
  • Cookies: for the duration indicated in the Cookie policy.

7 – Is the contribution compulsory?

The data required for the order (name, address, email, phone) is mandatory: without it we cannot ship the purchase. All other data is optional.

8. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the data is limited to the people who need it to manage orders and support.

9. Your rights

At any time you may request:

  • access to your data and a copy ( art. 15 GDPR);
  • the rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
  • the cancellation ( art. 17);
  • restriction of treatment ( art. 18);
  • data portability (Art. 20);
  • opposition to legitimate interest-based processing and marketing ( art. 21);
  • the withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing already carried out.
